Tony's Story...
Hi, my name is TONY and I’m a 5 year old BIG BLACK TABBY boy sporting a GORGEOUS MARBLE COAT. As you can see from my photo, I’m VERY HANDSOME with SYMMETRICAL markings and bright green eyes. I am VERY FRIENDLY, SUPER CLEAN and I love to sleep SNUGGLED up against my human. I also enjoy giving HEAD BUTTS to show my AFFECTIONATE personality. It's also been said that I'm VERY SMART and GENTLE with children. Up until recently, I was the ONLY CAT in a loving home and I liked that. But that all changed when my elderly owner became too sick to care for me and I was taken to a local animal shelter to await my fate. Luckily, Posh Pets came to my rescue and I’ve been given a second chance to find love. Could that second chance be with you? Let’s meet and see. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
