Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB April 20, 2012.
Hi! My name is Bear and I am just as sweet as a cute black teddy bear. I have gorgeous soft long fur with a little white spot on my chest. I think it makes me look quite handsome! I have the looks that will melt your heart. I love to explore and follow you around. Don’t be surprised when you are feeling lonely and I am right there by your side to give you comfort and love. If I am not near you, you will find me napping. I am a professional at finding the best napping spots - including near you! I love to play and will give you the cutest look in the world when I’m in the mood to play. I promise I will keep all your secrets and you can tell all about your day - then you can pet me to feel better. I can’t wait to come home with you and live the rest of my life with you.
Bear has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. He does not require medication. He can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (ie. deep bite marks). Please do not judge him based on a blood test!
Bear is currently being fostered in-store at PetSmart Kennedy Commons, if you wish to adopt or meet him, please contact the store directly at 416-335-7922, or email our lead volunteer Nalini: naliniramroop@torontocatrescue.ca.
