My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey is a 10-12 month pup who most likely spent his entire puppyhood living on the streets of Houston. When he landed in a local animal control facility, he had very little hair and had mostly likely suffered from sarcoptic mange from a very young age. He'd never known treats or toys or the joys of human companionship.

Fast forward 8 weeks: Petey is completely healed from sarcoptic mange and will never have to endure that misery again. His hair is growing back and he is absolutely adorable! He is happy and healthy and is enjoying all of the attention that he's getting from the volunteers at the Cocker Inn. He is learning what toys are and has really come to appreciate the luxury of a clean fluffy bed. He has all of the comforts of a great life except a loving family. We are head over heels for this little guy and know you will be too!
