Patch's Story...
Welcome to ACL, gorgeous Patch! Patch is a super sweet 1 year old English Spot mix rabbit who came to ACL as an owner surrender - she had been purchased at a pet store, and the owners no longer had time to care for her. This is a sad, familiar story for domestic rabbits, and ACL knew we needed to step up for Patch. Patch is insanely soft, loves to be pet, and she's very social and well-adapted. Patch would make a great addition to a home with respectful children of any age! Like all bunnies, Patch will need a daily diet of pellets, hay, and fresh veggies, so her adopters should be prepared to play "rabbit chef"! Patch is so affectionate and appreciative that it shouldn't be difficult to shower her with love and attention. Come meet Patch today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patch, a Oak Park English Spot was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Spot for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a English Spot from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Spot breeders who help with English Spot rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
