My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world! My name is Jake and I am about 4 years old, minpin/chi boy. My coat is red and oh so shiny. If you want to know I have a shiny red coat, and fully vetted, including my micro chip. I have a grade 2 heart murmer. The vet feels I will live and love a long time .No medication is needed.
The reason I am in rescue is because my elderly people could no longer take care of me, and their family thought it best if I found a new home. As you can guess I was very sad at the news. But I have found a great foster home where I have many dog friends, but I also have a lap to sit in to watch tv, read a book, take a nap in the evening after dinner, and extra treat I can sleep with my foster mom.
Jake is a sweet and gentle boy, house trained, crate trained, takes treats gently, has great recall, rides well in the car, and is just one of the nicest boys to come into rescue. Please consider this darling when looking for a new family member.

Jake's adoption fee is $200.00
MPMR, Inc. requires all our adopted dogs to be kept on Heartworm prevention year around, or in accordance with your veterinarian's recommendation for your area. We also require all vaccinations be kept current in accordance with your veterinarian's protocol and health wellness plan for your dog.
