Mitch's Story...
Meet Mitchell Rims (I call him Mitch) he is a 3.5 year old Boxer mix weighing around 55 lbs. He is a playful and loyal guy. He has a dominant side but does good with other dogs as long as they don't come at him or show that they want to. He likes wrestle around with you but also just loves to lay and chill. He's a fun and sweet happy guy. Mitch is very smart and learns super fast on commands. Half the time I don't even need a treat.. He is loyal and just wants to please. I would like Mitch to go into a home being the only dog or with another non-dominant dog and with someone that's going to spoil and play with him. He has been around kids ranging from 2 to 12. He has done fine with both. He walks great on a leash and enjoys riding. Mitch is ready for a place to call his own.

He is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. If your interested in adopting Mitch please email us at dogsonborrowedtime@outlook.com. He is being fostered in Tennessee but we transport out of state.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitch, a Allentown Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
