Alice's Story...
Are you searching for the way to Wonderland? Well, follow me and I can show you the way to a fantastic sight indeed! Can you imagine having a sweet, smart, and sensitive lady like me in your life? I had been living in a world of wonder for the last 5 years, but things changed, and like the Mad Hatter at his tea party, I am searching for a clean cup! I was royally received and educated by her Majesty on the elements of etiquette and am fully crate trained. I also have proper manners around cats and other dogs. One thing I always find curious, though, is little children! They seem so sweet and affectionate, but if they move too quickly or yell too loudly I might get a little nervous. It hasn’t been the easiest transition leaving my former Wonderland, but I know I can find magic with another forever family. Let’s journey together through this world full of Wonder! 6 years old-67lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Weimaraner for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Weimaraner breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
