Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Inky came from a rural Georgia shelter where she had been dumped at a trash dump out in the country. Anytime someone would go to dump trash, Inky would greet the people and try to get in their vehicles. The shelter received numerous calls about this friendly girl and eventually someone brought her to the shelter.
Inky has beautiful fluffy black fur and round, gold eyes. She is very friendly and dog-like, following her foster family around and enjoying any kind of attention. When Inky is being held, she rests her head on a person's shoulder, with her arms stretched out, soaking in the love. She enjoys playing, particularly with toys on a wire or string.
While she has adjusted to her foster home with other kitties, she does not enjoy the others who get in her space and would do well as an "only". She is open and interested in the dogs in her foster home, so would probably do well with friendly dogs with a proper introduction.
Black is the new chocolate! Black cats are often overlooked for more colorful ones. Please consider adopting a black kitty as your next feline family member.
