Sammy's Story...
Meet Sammy! This happy little polar bear (border collie - german shepherd - pit bull mix) is looking for someone to celebrate life with. Sammy loves people and other dogs. He is very responsive to his person and really enjoys spending time with his people and learning new things - he's a quick study! He thinks he would be the perfect match for someone looking to learn about training polar bears for rally, obedience, agility, or any other dog sport. He works well for food (he's working for his everyday kibble in the video), toys, and praise. He has very pleasant drives; strong enough to focus and work in new locations around new distractions but not over the top. Perfect for someone looking to learn or wants to dabble in training and sports but isn't looking for a high strung sporting dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Loveland Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Loveland, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Loveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
