My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to our little Fiona!!! Check out those ears! We are in LOVE with this funny little girl. She is sweet, playful, outgoing and how can you resist those ears!!!! We are convinced she must be mixed with Chihuahua or Bull Terrier! Or Donkey! Fiona is one of the two puppies we pulled from rural Wasco shelter last week. She had severe demodex upon arrival at the shelter and the amazing volunteers got her the medical attention she needed and started treatment. Well you know us! We cannot resist a demodex dog! Fiona is safe with Pit Crew in a temporary foster, receiving the medical attention she needs. We are looking for a foster for her so if you would like to care for our amazing puppy, please fill out a foster application today. Fiona is definitely one of a kind. We just LOVE HER!

05/21/2015 Our love-bug demodex baby Fiona was rescued from rural Wasco shelter where she was slated for euthanasia due to her non-contagious, treatable skin condition. She has been with us 3 weeks now and her skin has already drastically improved! Fiona is by far one of the sweetest dogs on this earth, no joke! She is submissive with other dogs but LOVES to play with all dogs big and small. She is all full-body wags and kisses with everyone and every dog she meets! She is a huge cuddler and loves to be loved, which her foster momma is happy to give her. Fiona has the funniest ears! We are convinced she is half Bull Terrier and half donkey hahaha!
Fiona will continue to undergo treatment for her demodex, she also has a herniated ambilical cord that needs to be addressed. We took her to be spayed, unfortunately the vet said her eyes were dialted and they said it was not safe to perform surgery at this time. This has never happened before so we need to get her in to a specialist (neurologist) to find out what is going on with her. Times are extremely tough and we have one of the lowest adoption rates around, so needless to say any help you can offer, would be greatly appreciated.
