Prairie was found on the streets of Detroit, pregnant, in the middle of winter. Thankfully, she was found in time for her to give birth to nine adorable puppies in a safe, warm & loving foster home. She was a wonderful mother to her puppies; a good sign of things to come. Prairie is a bit timid, but give her a minute & she'll be your best buddy! She enjoys walks, car rides & cuddling on the couch! She's a very alert girl in a beautiful, brindle, compact (45lb) body. She currently lives in a foster home with 3 other male dogs. Prairie has overcome homelessness, birthing & caring for a full litter & heartworm - a deadly, long, difficult and expensive treatment. Now it's time for this beautiful survivor to find her forever home! Do you have room in your heart for this loving, young dog?
