Elvis's Story...

My name is Elvis. I'm about 1-2 years old. My foster mom got me right before I was euthanized by county. I'm small about 7 pounds. I like to be around other dogs and prefer older more patient children. However I will tolerate the littles as long as they are sweet with me. I'm a lap dog. I love to be held and go on walks. I'm kind of scared of the leash but that doesn't stop me because I don't run away. My foster mom chose just the right name for me, I have the Elvis lip and I love to talk. Not the annoying bark talk but a cute little raptor, bird squeak. You have to hear it to understand.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Phoenix Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
