Here's what the humans have to say about me:
8/8/08
Hi, my new name is Tiger, not quite sure of my age, but I’m a pup around 1 year old. I was lingering in a shelter when NJBR rescued me. I had a rough young life because I’m very skittish around men, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m very well behaved, will not jump on furniture unless invited. I don’t beg at tables and I’m almost house trained - you see, because I’m still very young I don’t have the capacity to last the whole day through.
When I warm up to a person, I love to give him hugs by standing on my hind legs and gently tuck my nose into his armpit, oooh, it feels so good to melt into the human who is the apple of my eyes. I don’t lick people’s faces, and that is a really good thing.
Because I’m young, I have lots and lots of energy. I’m the first one to get up in the morning and last one to go to sleep at night. I love going out for walks but I have no sense of the road dangers.
I’m the lead dog when it comes to playing tag. My foster sisters can’t keep up with me. I tease them by holding a toy in my mouth, and I keep running past them till they start to chase me. Sometimes I would purposefully drop the toy, when one of them picks it up I get to turn around and chase them! Oh, boy, I have so much fun wrestling with my foster sisters!
Life is so much better now that I’ve been rescued, but I’m looking forward to an even better home to call my own. I will make you laugh every day, give you warm hugs, and melt into your arms. I have a very soft coat that is feels really good next to your skin, I will always have this soft coat because I am that special kind of brindle. Won’t you come, give me a big hug and take me home?
