My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remy is a 2.5 year old stunning dark red tri with warm, intense brown eyes. Remy is a cuddly, sweet guy once he gets to know you, then you’re his friend for life. He’ll make sure to warn you when someone is coming to the house but is a total gentleman once he’s introduced properly.

Remy is looking for well-balanced and active family with older and respectful children and no cats because it’s hard for him to suppress his herding instinct when the kitties run.  Remy is a medium energy guy who really enjoys daily runs or walks with his foster mom and wrestling sessions with his foster brother, but also totally enjoys a rainy afternoon on the couch in your lap.

Remy requires a home with a securely fenced yard due to his curious nature and is not appropriate for apartment or condo/townhome living. He is house and crate trained and will lay his head in your lap to let you know he needs to go outside. Remy knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash but is bothered by passing motorcycles so is perfecting his leash walking skills. He loves car rides where he has his head out the window and wind in his face.

Remy is a total hunk who steals the hearts of everyone who meets him. He’s fostered in the Lexington, Ky area and is up to date on Rabies, Bortadella, and Distemper vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and takes Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives every month.
