I am Neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots & crate trained. I am good with people, pushy, but ok with like sized dogs and too obsessed with kitties
Krieger was an owner surrender at West Valley Animal Shelter. Krieger is a 4-5 year old "pure bred" German Shepherd. We believe Krieger was ignored and left outside a lot of his younger years. He took a while to adjusting to the indoor life. Now that he has figured out the glories of being an indoor family dog he just can't get enough! Because of his neglect early in life he may take a little while adjusting into his forever home, but the wait is worth it. Once this boy bonds to you, he is forever seeking your love and affection. If you havn't noticed by the pictures, Krieger is missing an ear. After a very bad infected hematoma the vet felt it best to remove the ear completely. This doesn't slow him down one bit and does not affect his health in any way. Krieger is a get up and go type of dog who has a lot of energy, he would do best in a home where people are home often and active, without small kids & with experienced dog handlers who understand him. Krieger is smart, too smart, if you don't make sure he is minding his manners he will take advantage. Krieger is ok around some dogs, he is not dog park or play date material he is pushy and doesn't really understand dog language. We lovingly call him the "fun police" because if he sees other dogs playing he has to rush in and put a stop to it. If you have other dogs in the home we have to be very selective about them because many dogs will not like Kriegers personality. He would do best as a single animal home. He has been around other cats but it's not ideal they stress him out because he is obsessed over knowing where they are at all times and when he finds them he presses his whole muzzle on them to sniff them from head to toe~ Not to fun for a kitty cat.
Over all Krieger is an amazing dog who will find his forever home- if you think that could be you email us at email@example.com and fill out our application here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1OmKL0dm_KY6AVAOu65a9zbit3boEV2wUN5HGUGULwSw/edit?usp=drive_web
