Roxie's Story...
Hi, my name is Roxie, I am a Brown Mackerell type tabby.  I am an 8 month
old female, I have been fixed and up-to-date on all my shots.  I am cute and
friendly.  Currently I am the Shop cat at Books and Crannies, I pretty much
own the place now, but they would like to find me a permanent home.  I seem
ok with other cats. I have an adoption fee of only $60.00, tax deductible.
You can come and meet me at Books and Crannies, I work there 7 days a week,
or call Gina at 661-822-8440 for more info about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Tehachapi Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Tehachapi, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Tehachapi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tehachapi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tehachapi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tehachapi paves the way for another one to be saved.
