Sarah - ADOPTED's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sarah - ADOPTED's Story...

Sweet Sarah wound up at an animal shelter after her beloved owner passed away and her family did not want to care for her.  Sarah is a darling 8 year old girl who asks for little more than a soft place to curl up, preferably next to a family member on the sofa, and plenty of cuddles and kisses.  She is an affectionate girl who seems to love everyone.

Sarah is blind, with managed glaucoma in one eye and a stable cataract in the other.  She takes one medication consisting of one drop in the eye with glaucoma once every other day. Sarah is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative, microchipped, housetrained, walks well on a leash and likes to ride in the car.  This sweet, low-key girl would be a wonderful companion for an older person or couple or someone who just would like to have a quiet couch companion.

ADOPTION FEE: $250

A copy of the vet records will be provided to adopter at the time of adoption.  This dog is fostered in the Tallahassee, FL area and adoption applications will be accepted from individuals living within a 100 mile radius. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah - ADOPTED, a Tallahassee Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
