My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scooter was taken from a rent home that had been abandoned by tenants with 20 cats and 10 dogs inside. As you can imagine it was a horrific scene. Scooter has really come around, he is good indoors, still a little shy, but very affectionate and the offer of canned food cancels his shyness and brings him running. He will be a good pet. His only need is to be in a home with limited pets and good flea control as he has very sensitive skin to fleas. His adoption fee will be waived to a qualified adopter so that he can visit with a vet and get off to a good start with his new family. Scooter has not been combo tested for felv/fiv but other cats in the household have been checked and found negative.

C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels. Tractor Supply Bulverde, Earth Angels San Marcos, etc. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.

Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.
