Meet "River"! River came to rescue after her family's circumstances changed and they were no longer able to care for her. She has some allergies that just require a special diet (inexpensive) and can flare up under stress. Like many shepherds, she is available through no fault of her own, and looking for her forever home!
As you can see from her photo, River is a gorgeous girl with a glossy black coat and stunning eyes. She is just 13 months old, and eager to have a family and home to call her own. Her Forever Home will need to continue her socialization, training, and exercise, and this young lady will blossom into the loyal, dedicated companion. Ideally, she would have a home with another submissive dog, as she gets along with the male dog in her foster home very well and seems to enjoy the company.
She has allergies which are being treated. Her foster brother is helping her learn play and approach skills. She is smart as a whip and already knows many commands.
