My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Golden Senior Boy of 10

CHANCE: We only have the ability to adopt Chance to adopters who live in or near SW PA. Chance, our Loving and Gentle 10 year old Senior  The foster family that is tending Chance has fallen in love with his sweet disposition and gentle ways. Chance simply wants to give love and be loved. No he will not chase tennis balls but he will come to your knee, rest his head to be scratched and look at you with his sweet dark eyes. He loves to talk to you and nap right at your feet. He is looking for a calm home without toddlers that will give him as much affection as he will give you. He can do the basic commands, actually knock on the door to go out and come in. He likes to watch the young dogs at play while resting on the deck. He has some arthritis in his back legs so a home without many steps would be ideal. He has fatty lumps which are benign on his body like most senior Goldens. He won't be a dog to take on hikes; he is a dog that will give you love and affection while he shows his gratitude for giving him a forever home.  The rescue has thoroughly vetted him including neutering, microchipping, all vaccinations, HW testing and doing a senior blood panel which came back negative. He is UTD and ready to go!  Is your heart big enough to match his big heart? He will thank you every day with love.  Please contact Mike at wagsrescue@comcast.net to begin the application process and to have a discussion about Chance.  As a 501-c3 charity your adoption donation will be tax deductible. You will see in his medical records that the rescue has almost $500 in preparing him to go to his forever home. We ask that you consider covering his previous medical expenses that the rescue incurred or a minimum of $250.
