Nina's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Nina's Story...
WE ADOPT ONLY IN THE GREATER ST. LOUIS AREA.

Nina is 15 month old spayed sable Corgi girl who LOVES to play. She especially likes the game of fetch and tug. She knows how to sit, down, and we are working on "out". She is constantly moving and loves to play with her Aussie foster brother. Nina likes to run around in the yard and to chase critters.  When she finally takes a break she likes to snuggle and is super sweet. She currently lives with two Corgis and an Aussie. She would do best in a home with another dog to play with her. You may notice that Nina looks a bit bald. She was shaved when we got her. Her coat is gradually coming back in and she will be a beautiful sable girl. Nina is intelligent and likes to work. If you are considering a dog sport like agility, she could be your girl. If you are a hiker she would be a great companion.

Nina is house and crate trained. Nina would do best in a home with another small dog. She has had all vaccines, is spayed and micro-chipped. We do require a fenced yard. No electronic fences please. We do not adopt to homes with small children. For more information please contact corgisandclaire@gmail.com or call 314-422-2350.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Chesterfield Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Welsh Corgi for sale in Chesterfield, or seeking a Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Chesterfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chesterfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chesterfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chesterfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
