Ripley's Story...
Ripley
Male
DOB: 11/09/09
Shepherd/Hound Mix
Weight: 60 Pounds

Ripley’s big, beautiful brown eyes capture your heart and give expression to his intelligence. Ripley wants to please and enjoys being with people that love him. He wants most of all to have someone to spend time with him. Going on long walks and being able to explore his world would make him very happy. He is not comfortable around other dogs and will probably do best as an only dog. He is also house-trained with a doggie door.

Ripley would think he is the luckiest dog in the world to that adopter that would share their home with him, but most of all to share their love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ripley, a Mountain Center German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
