I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.
Hazel was picked up as a stray a few months ago. We did locate the owner and they came to get her. well she was found in another town running loose again. TP animal control contacted the owner who neglected to pick her up this time. While at TP AC they said she was ok with other large dogs in a leash but reactive to little ones. While getting to know her, we can say she is pretty chill and laid back. She has been bred over and over so we are looking for a loving family that will make the rest of her life about making her happy. If you have bully breed experience and can foster her to help us get to know her and are willing to slowly work her into a pack and give her a place to heal after surgery then please fill out a foster application online. We will work with an experienced adopter as well while she is waiting for us to raise money for her eye surgery. We need $500 just for her surgery on top of the spay and vaccines will be taking care of for her. You donate directly on our website for her medical care. Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. If you want to learn how you can set your new rescue up to succeed and blend in with your family come to our Meet The Trainer sessions each weekend. We will give you tips on what to do when you first bring home a new rescue. Saturday at Noon in St John and Sunday at Noon in Frankfort are free Meet The Trainer sessions with more free sessions to be added during the week soon. Fill out an application in the Get Involved section to meet our rescues. www.alsiptotherescue.org!
