Cora's Story...

Smiling Cora is a 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who hasn't met a person she doesn't like and gives giant sloppy kisses to prove it. This big puddle of love would stand on her head for you if there was a nice treat in the offering. Cora is approved for kids of all ages and would be a good fit for an active family. Come meet this smart girl with the never-ending tail wag in our Get Acquainted Area at Seattle Humane.

As with all of our dogs, Cora has been spayed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. She will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion and a training rebate when you complete a dog behavior course - a great way to start off on the right paw!

Introduce to children of all ages. Resident dogs are required to visit Cora prior to adoption. Cat free home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cora, a Bellevue American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
