  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Pretty Lady is the daughter of Precious (also listed for adoption). She was an owner surrender to the local animal shelter, lived outside all her short life and had no veterinary care prior to coming to the rescue. She is approximately 6 months old and full of that puppy energy. She needs work on basic commands and manners however is very eager to please. She does tend to be extremely shy until she warms up to you which doesn't take long at all. She does well with children however due to her high activity level & lack of manners still, older children would be best. She gets along well with other dogs big and small but forgets she's so big and tends to over power the smaller dogs. As for cats, in time she could come more accustomed to them and proper behaviors but as of now, she is too eager to play with them and them not wanting to play with her. Her adoption fee is $180 and a strict spay with micro chip contract with $100 refundable deposit will be in place if not spayed prior to adoption. Please contact the rescue if you are interested in an adoption application for this sweet young lady.

Our Adoption Process...

Our usual fee to adopt is $180. If the pet is not already spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to an approved adoption application, a $100 deposit is collected and a spay/neuter contract must be signed stating the animal being adopted will be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption and a copy of certificate from a licensed vet/clinic must be provided to the rescue within 14 days after surgery. If not complied with, the $100 deposit is forfeited and animal can be reclaimed and put back up for adoption. An adoption application must be completed and submitted prior to any adoptions. All applicants must submit and agree to a home visit from an officer of the rescue. Background checks are conducted to verify no criminal or civil charges are pending or posted against potential adopter in regards to animal welfare. Once references and checks come back satisfactory, adopter is contacted and time is arranged for any surgeries and/or adoption. An adoption contract is then signed and agreed upon by both the rescue representative and adopter. A copy of the contract along with original vetting records go to the adopter. Original contract and copy of vetting records stays with the rescue.
