I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Giddeon's Story...
Giddeon is an 8 month old, male, German Shepherd Dog mixed breed. He weighs 50 pounds and came in via the dog warden so we have no history on him. Giddeon is afraid. He is afraid of people and takes a good 15 minutes to warm up to us. He will need an experienced owner who can help him to gain confidence. Giddeon needs a home without small children due to his timidness. Once Giddeon feels comfortable he take treats from our hands but does it so gently. He will sit. Giddeon needs an adopter who can devote some time to him. He is adoptable at The Humane Society Serving Crawford County at 419-562-9149

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Giddeon, a Bucyrus German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bucyrus, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bucyrus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bucyrus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bucyrus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bucyrus paves the way for another one to be saved.
