Joey is a 2-year-old mixed breed dog who is well behaved as he is handsome. He walks well on a leash and is gentle when playing with toys or releasing a rawhide. Joey is very dog friendly and tested well with female and male dogs of varying sizes. Joey is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go to a new home. About Our Rescue Group...

Halfway Hounds mission is to give homeless dogs a new leash on life by offering them the obedience training, behavior modification and emotional rehabilitation they need to become adoptable pets.

Halfway Hounds assists potentially adoptable dogs who have been owner surrendered or can no longer stay at a shelter. Our program provides every dog with a foster home and a customized training program to prepare them for adoption. In addition, new pet owners receive a behavior assessment report on the dog, free or discounted obedience training and follow-up visits and calls from a trainer.

Halfway Hounds is a volunteered based non-profit organization and a recognized 501(c)3. We need donations, volunteers and foster homes.
