Ruby-Indiana's Story...
Ruby's Facebook Page
Ruby lived most of her 7 years in an outdoor pen. We were happy to get her into our program and she is a very loving dog-- but was not socialized with kids it seems so she needs an adult only home. She is fine and playful with other dogs.

If you would like to help, please click HERE to submit a foster to adopt home application. We are also accepting donations for her care at HELP IBR!< /a>

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby-Indiana, a Wood Dale English Setter/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Setter/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Wood Dale, or seeking a English Setter/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wood Dale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wood Dale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wood Dale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Setter/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with English Setter/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wood Dale paves the way for another one to be saved.
