Lilly's Story...
LILLY
ONE YEAR - female
Tri-Color Calico

My name is Lilly. I have had a lot of adventures in my short one year life. I was found as a stray kitty very pregnant. Lucky for me a rescue person took me in. I was taken to the Forgotten Cats spay/neuter clinic in Willow Grove where a Stray Cat Blues foster mom found me. She took me to her home where I gave birth to my four kittens. I have been a very good momma cat but now that my kittens are growing, I no longer need to watch over them so carefully. They are all in good hands with their foster mom.

As for me – I love and trust kind people. I’m very affectionate and calm. I will seek your pets and kisses and can be picked up and petted. My ideal home would be as an only cat or with one of my own kittens. Something must have scared me when I was on the street because I’m very afraid of other cats. I probably had to fight for food. My foster mom tried to get me used to other cats by letting me see them through a screen door to my foster room, but even her friendly cats still scared me.

If you want a super sweet kitty that’s also gorgeous….that would be me. If you want two kitties, maybe you could consider adopting me with one of my kittens. That is not necessary, of course, just a suggestion.

Lilly is spayed, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She is also microchipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Colmar Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
