Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dakota and Alaska (ALASKA HAS BEEN ADOPTED)
Dakota, a Flame Point Snowshoe, and his Flame Point brother, Alaska, are a warm pair to keep you happy. These four year old brothers have had a rough time between general poor health when they arrived, the obligatory URIs, and then poor Dakota's abscess. Fortunately, they have gotten the care they needed, and they are all better. Dakota does have a food allergy and needs to be kept on a grain free diet, but they are both very healthy now and ready to go home.
Dakota is the more outgoing of the two, but Alaska is the more affectionate, crawling into your lap and reaching out for headbutt. At the same time, Alaska is the more playful, fun-loving one while Dakota is very calm and sweet. They are extremely bonded and we would really prefer not to separate them. Considering Dakota's allergy as a special circumstance, we might consider it but will really give preference to a home that will take them both.
They are such a stunning pair, and are so fun to see together. Between the snuggles and love they give each other and the funny antics they get themselves into, Dakota and Alaska would make any family complete. (ALASKA HAS BEEN ADOPTED)
If you are interested in adopting this precious pair, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. They are in a foster home in Ennis, Texas
Adoption Fee: $200
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
