My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hunter is a gentle, quiet, and calm 15 pound, 9 year old boy that is looking for a new home to match his personality. He is very affectionate and friendly with all that he meets. He would do just fine as an only dog or with a canine companion that matches his demeanor-- he requests no frisky young whipper-snappers that never take a break! He grew up with a little boy and enjoys the company of older children​, but active little ones are a bit much for him​. He is partial to women, but does just fine with men​ and is agreeable to cats as well.​

Hunter quickly learned to ​enjoy​ his crate for sleeping at night and he ​does well with potty skills. He does get nervous during severe storms, but his foster family ​says that he quiets easily with ​the help of his Thundershirt and a calming treat. He is fully vetted and ready to find his forever family.​

Hunter will be a wonderful addition to any household with a slow paced life-style. He does enjoy some playtime during the day, but prefers to imitate a couch pillow most of the time.
