Dixie is the resident love bug. All the volunteers love her and for good reason. Dixie loves everyone that she meets! She loves to play with her toys. She will play fetch or throw the ball around in the pool. She enjoys her walks and knows many commands. She enjoys learning and learns very quickly.
Dixie will lean up against you to get some love and pets. She will give you kisses in return. If you let her she will sit in your lap for some petting.
She also has the cutest underbite and splotchy nose. She is just adorable.
Dixie has even helped one of our cat volunteers overcome her mild fear of larger dogs. The volunteer visits Dixie after her shift with the cats. Dixie is kind and gentle with her and has shown her that there is nothing to fear from her. Our Dixie girl has won the hearts of all of our volunteers, even the cat volunteers!!!
Give her a chance and she will win your heart too!
Dixie is about 15 months old. She is a happy, playful pup who is great with all people. Dixie has been growing up at the shelter. The volunteers have done a really great job with her and she is everyones favorite. She deserves a great home to grow up in.
She is beautiful inside and out so please do not make her wait any longer for a home of her own.
Dixie is located in Linden,NJ.
