My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dorothy and I am a sweet, quiet, elegant cat who is looking for a new home. I saved my own life by having kittens in the shelter and the shelter staff were kind enough to post me for rescue and me and my kittens made it out!! I have raised my amazing brood of 6 but now I am ready for my own home. I still need to put on some weight but am otherwise healthy and looking to move on with my new life. I am friendly and playful. I am not a huge snuggler but I spend most of my current snuggle time with my kittens, so I think I might like a nice lap in time. I get along great with other cats (being fostered with 3) and an very passive with other cats. I am not very fond of dogs. I am tolerating them in my foster home but they still scare me a bit. I would be OK with a quiet, well behaved dog but young crazy dogs make me very nervous. I am a tall, elegant cat with an incredible tail. I also like to beg people food if you happen to be eating on the couch or anywhere I can join you. I love people food and don’t mind just a snack or two!
