Rocket's Story...
June Special – adoption fee of just $30 for all kittens!

We knew Rocket would be a sweet cat because his mom is Lupa, an extremely loving cat. Rocket is still a kitten so he wants to play and run but he is also friendly and sweet. He is living with other kittens and he loves it. He plays hard and then enjoys his little cat naps in the sun. Rocket is a white short hair kitty with patches of gray and brown. He is too young to be fixed, born 3/13/16, but he will be when he is old enough. He is current on his shots and litter box trained. Rocket would love to grow old with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocket, a McCormick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
