This handsome boy is Jared. You can tell by looking into his soft, gentle eyes that he has not had an easy life so far. There is a lot of fear and uncertainty in those eyes, but if you look deep into them you will also see a ray of hope for a better life. Jared was found lost and scared on 5/26/16, and after not being claimed is now available for adoption. He is about 2 years old and weighs just 37 lbs. He is sweet and shy, and very obedient. He knows his basic commands so it's obvious to us that he did have a home at one time. Now what he needs is a good bath to clean him up, but most importantly he needs a hero to rescue him and give him a chance to have a happy life. He is current on his vaccines and upon adoption will be neutered, heartworm tested and micro chipped. Jared's ID # is 585659 and he can be found in cage 59. He needs someone who will give him a shot to get comfortable and come out of his shell. He's a great dog, who needs a great person.
