Pinky is a super sweet and happy girl! She is a young adult pittie mix - you could say "pocket pittie" because she is very petite. She does great with other dogs - but definitely not a fan of felines. Pinky has "thinning retinas" which means she has difficulty seeing the full picture. She can see shapes and shadows, and is able to learn her surroundings and get around just fine, with a little bit of time. We believe she can live a normal life with the right person who is willing to work with her! She readily obeys "go in your crate" and loves a reward. She is not very interested in playing with toys or other dogs, but loves affection once she warms up to you.
Pinky is a little shy at first and can be startled easily by loud, close noises or sudden movement or touch. We would say kids 10+ because of this and her vision impairment. Even with her vision issues, she seems to have almost no trouble running up carpeted stairs, but needs assistance when traveling down them, at least until she gets used to her surroundings. Pinky has no trouble hopping up on a couch and she loves to snuggle up close to you, and at times will lay her head in your lap. She has a special charm and winning way about her. Please consider opening your heart and home to Pinky!! Adoption fee $200.
