Pinky's Story...
STEP 1: PLEASE SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.MAGGIESMISSIONRESCUE.ORG

Pinky is a super sweet and happy girl! She is a young adult pittie mix - you could say "pocket pittie" because she is very petite. She does great with other dogs - but definitely not a fan of felines. Pinky has "thinning retinas" which means she has difficulty seeing the full picture. She can see shapes and shadows, and is able to learn her surroundings and get around just fine, with a little bit of time. We believe she can live a normal life with the right person who is willing to work with her! She readily obeys "go in your crate" and loves a reward. She is not very interested in playing with toys or other dogs, but loves affection once she warms up to you.

Pinky is a little shy at first and can be startled easily by loud, close noises or sudden movement or touch. We would say kids 10+ because of this and her vision impairment. Even with her vision issues, she seems to have almost no trouble running up carpeted stairs, but needs assistance when traveling down them, at least until she gets used to her surroundings. Pinky has no trouble hopping up on a couch and she loves to snuggle up close to you, and at times will lay her head in your lap. She has a special charm and winning way about her. Please consider opening your heart and home to Pinky!! Adoption fee $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinky, a Sharon Center Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sharon Center, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sharon Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sharon Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sharon Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sharon Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
