Hi there. My name is Charlie. I'm about 4 years old and I weigh 56.6 lbs.
I was left in an abandoned house for about 3 weeks with minimal visits and care. The pound got a call from the police department after a concerned neighbor realized that I was still in the house. Someone opened a window so I could get some fresh air as it was very hot and humid that day. I hopped out the window, so when the pound arrived to my house, I was already out in the fenced yard.
The pound picked me up and checked the house to make sure there were no other dogs in there. There weren't any other dogs, but there were some other little critters who were also removed. The inside of the home had a lot of feces and urine all over the place because I wasn't being let outside at all.
I am a very nice boy. I am very friendly with people and I am pretty good with most of the other dogs that I have been around since I have been here at the pound. I get a little testy with some males and dogs that are super hyper, but other than that, I do pretty well.
If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
