Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CALLING ALL BEAGLE LOVERS! THIS BOY NEEDS A HOME (Family)! Louie is a 6 to 6 1/2 year old, beagle weighing 38 lbs. The family that originally had him since he was a puppy, kept him outside dog and he wanted very much to be an inside dog. He will whine if he is left outside as he wants to be inside with his people. He is potty trained. He is a nice dog, very friendly and personable with people (loves them) and he loves other dogs. He loves his walks and should be with someone who would like a walking or even a hiking buddy. He does not like fireworks but many dogs don’t like being kept outside while that is going on. He knows the commands sit, stay, down. He likes toys, Rides well in the car, is very affectionate and loving. He will bark to alert when someone comes to the door. We don’t know how he is with cats. We think he would be good with older kids. He is current on his vaccinations, is neutered and micro-chipped. Louie is a very good boy just has anxiety from being left all alone. A stay at home mom or dad or work from home person or a person that has recently retired are best suited for Louie. We know that there are times he will be alone for short periods in that case he should have a canine companion with a doggie door. Louie wasn’t taken care of and now one of his ears is what they call a cauliflower ear. He is still handsome and is a wonderful loving dog.
