My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EST DOB: 3/3/16
JETT MEANS "BLACK GEMSTONE". Another meaning is "trusting" and "looks at the world through innocent eyes". What darling eyes he has and you can get lost in them when he is being sweet! Please forgive his lively "catch me if you can" side! Favorite toys are mini mice, soft balls & toys he can carry, wadded up paper balls and clothesline pieces. Working on teaching him to fetch like our Bella does.

WE KNOW YOU WILL GIVE HIM LOTS OF LOVE LIKE WE HAVE. HE WILL BE A WONDERFUL KITTEN ESPECIALLY FOR A CHILD/TEEN OR SOMEONE WANTING A CLOSE COMPANION. HE IDEALLY NEEDS TO BE IN HOUSEHOLD WITH LOTS OF ATTENTION OR OTHER PETS.

He is a very good eater. I have him on Royal Canin KITTEN food. Finished off Mother/Kitten level food Jeri gave me and Jett has almost gone through a brand new bag of Kitten level. He loves food of any kind and we are working on people food is not necessarily kitten food...

Need to tell you about his tom kitty tantrums. It is when he is tired (or scared). Starts struggling and is a pill. I will show you how to hold and massage him. He usually falls asleep in your hands. Many small children are the same way. Rev it up to stay awake!!!

Jett likes to annoy the other cats and is quite interested in big gray forest cat Charlie. Charlie says to keep distance but allows the kitten to come up to him now to touch noses. Bella watches out for the kitten and would find him when lost early on. Now she hisses the STAY AWAY and he is socialized to know she means it. Everyone knows what a "baby" is so they never do more than a swat, closed paw, on any kitten but it gets the message across. It is the social order of the older cats to teach MANNERS to kittens. Then THEY EXIT SCENE LEAVING KITTEN WITH A NEW KNOWLEDGE. After Turtle grew up they get along fine if Turtle remembers who is top tom cat! Ha! Jett is so curious about Molly, our Shepard dog! However, if Molly barks or is romping around Jett exits which is smart. He has no fear of her and has done some tail chasing. Jett has run of the house except computer room. A lot of electrical cords and don't trust him around them yet. He is still getting trained on them with water bottle. He respects the water bottle nicely
