Blair's Story...
Blair is a stunning girl! She was rescued from a neglectful situation in West Tennessee. She is approximately 2 years old and 35lbs. Blair is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly once she realizes she is wanted and loved. She adores people and thrives on attention! She loves to curl up next to her person in bed or on the couch. She really is "mans best friend!" She is well behaved in the house and does not have "crazy energy", although she will play with you if you want to play. Most of the time she prefers to just cuddle and chew on her beef hooves. Blair does well with other dogs (with a proper introduction), but can be a bit pushy at times. She likes to be the queen bee in the pack. She is housebroken, quiet, and crate trained. Blair is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. If you are interested in adding Blair to your family, go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blair, a Staunton Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
