Cowboy -Adopted!'s Story...
My name is Cowboy. I am a black n white parti colored cocker boy almost 5 years old. I am looking for a new forever home and someone to love me. CCR received an email from a NC shelter asking for help to take me, my brother YoYo and my dad, Toby into rescue. Our owners were not responsible pet people and allowed us to just roam around loose too many times until we got picked up by animal control. They were not allowed to get us back.

I am heartworm negative, neutered and groomed. I am a good boy, dog social with cockers and a great guy. Due to my past, these nice rescue folks recommend a home with older kids, 10 years and up. Please give me a 2nd chance to have the loving, forever home that I deserve. I would love to spend quality time with you, be a great indoor companion and your new best friend!

If you are interested in this cocker boy, please send an email message to: larrydonnacarp@aol.com for an adoption application. Our fee is $300 and includes all of the care and vetting needs for this dog while at our rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy -Adopted!, a Kannapolis Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Kannapolis, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Kannapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kannapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kannapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kannapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
