Sammie's Story...
Oh my what a handsome devil I am! A studmuffin if you will! I'm a yellow 100 pound 8 year old male and I’m a love bug! I will jump on the couch and cuddle with you if you let me. I will jump into your car (which I love to do) if you wanna take me with you. I'm doggie door trained and although I enjoy water, I'm not obsessed with it like some Labs. I've been living with a kitty in my foster home but I think the cat would prefer I find my forever home soon because I like to chase him. I also live with several other dogs which I enjoy being around but I would need to meet any new dogs to make sure we would get along just as well. I'm really such a great boy and I really want to find the home that will love me forever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
