Duke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Duke's Story...
McGruff (aka Duke) is a 7yr old purebred Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) looking for his forever home through Animalluvr's Dream Rescue. He may be gray in the face but still acts like a young man (but with manners). Great with dogs of all sizes, kids and cats. Overall he is a gentle giant who wants to cuddle, play and live life.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that go in as a tax deductible donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to helps other animals in need.

For more information, please fill out an application online or email us for one as well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Riverview Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Riverview, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Riverview.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Riverview already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Riverview breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Riverview paves the way for another one to be saved.
