Haisten's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Haisten's Story...
Haisten is a 4-5 year old Siberian Husky mix who was surrendered to us by his family when they were sent abroad by the US Air Force. He’s a big, friendly, affectionate guy with a big personality, often quite animated and talkative and sometimes a little sassy. Most of the time, however, he’s calm and obedient and he always loves to have his tummy rubbed.

Having come from a good home, Haisten was already house-trained and has been very well-mannered indoors. He lived most of his life as an only dog and is still perfecting his canine social skills, but he has done well with most of the huskies in his foster home and he enjoys playing with his foster brothers. Haisten weighs about 70 pounds, has one blue eye and one mixed brown/blue eye, and has a distinctive piebald coat pattern.

Haisten will need an experienced dog owner, but previous husky experience is not necessary. Please submit an online adoption application if interested in adopting Haisten. The adoption fee for Haisten is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haisten, a Cedar Crest Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Cedar Crest, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Cedar Crest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Crest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Crest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Crest paves the way for another one to be saved.
