Manny's Story...
Looking for a great senior cat? Manny is the cat for you! Manny came to Pet Search 3 years ago via humane box trap from Lone Pine. We found out very quickly that Manny was not feral, just in excruciating pain because his one paw was dangling by just a few shreds of skin. Not only did we save his paw, but we healed the broken spirit of a cat going through major depression by being abandoned at an older age. Manny is now about 13 years young, and he loves to wraps his paws around your neck when he is going to sleep. He is great with dogs as well as other cats. Manny does not attend adoptathons, but is always open to visitors/ potential adopters in his foster home. Please call Sherry at 724.228.7335 or email to set up a meeting with this very special boy…

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manny, a Washington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Washington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
