IDGSR welcomes Nelson into the safety of the rescue!!!

Nelson is a German Shepherd mix puppy who is 7 weeks old. He was one of 4 puppies born to Naomi who is a purebred German Shepherd. We do not know what breed the father was - perhaps Great Pyrenees - because these puppies weigh 12-13 lbs. now and are all a little fluffy. Puppies are cute and lovable but require time, attention and training to become part of your family. Nelson has a lot of puppy love to give and will be ready for a family of his own in a few weeks.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)

All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.

Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
