My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lil Red – male, neutered, , vaccinated including Rabies, Heartworm tested (-), dewormed, tx Flea Preventative, approx 15lbs, ~1-2yr, Dachshund/Basenji mix.

Lil Red is full of pep, good with other dogs, cats and would likely be fine with respectful children of any age. Red doesn’t know many commands and would benefit from obedience lessons with his new owners. He isn’t very hard to walk on the leash and he is crate trained and house trained. Red sleeps in his crate when left alone and at night but would likely be fine given free roam of the home once used to his new place. Red enjoys daily walks and would like visits to the dog park. He’s a great little size dog on short legs with a funny little curl in his tail. He loves to be with people and enjoys socializing with who ever might be around. He is clean and quiet in the home. Red travels well in the car as well. He would like a house with a yard but would be fine in an apartment.
