Barney's Story...
The B-Team kittens—Babette (the only female) Barney, Baxter, Buckley and Blake are approximately 11 weeks old. All are very playful yet will snuggle next to you on the couch and take a nap. They are happy and healthy kitties who need to be adopted into homes that already have a cat or kitten or be adopted in pairs. They are good with other cats and dogs and are ready for adoption and will be able to go to their new homes after June 7. They have tested negative for feline aids/leukemia, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. There is an adoption fee. If you'd like more information or to meet them, email cafaoregon@yahoo.com or call/text 503-586-6176.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Salem Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Salem, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
