My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugarcane is about 5 years old and she recently recently weighed-in at a fluffy, but thin, 33 pounds. Sugarcane is beautiful, gentle, well-mannered, and as sweet as....you guessed it...sugar, of course!

Unassuming and lacking in self confidence from her past life experiences, this wallflower has already started to open up and blossom- her tail is held high now and she responds with a subtle tail wag when spoken to. She gets along well with other dogs, but is not dependent upon them, so she would be just fine as an 'only child' or in a home with other dogs. Cats do not interest her.

Not a licker, not a barker, not a chewer- she will be a perfect life companion to the person or family who adopts her. Sugarcane is kennel trained, house broken and focused on the people around her, so she will be able to quickly learn the rules in her new home. Why not take a chance on Sugarcane, today?
