Chrissy aka Judy is a super cute Jack Russell that came to us from a local kill shelter with horrible demodex mange! This girl was almost completely hairless. Her skin was so swollen and infected! Not long after we got her she broke with parvo! With AMAZING vet care and lots of tlc from her foster this girl beat all the odds and is now a happy and HEALTHY 1 year old! She's a little on the chunky side at 15lbs! She's your typical JRT and is active and silly! She will keep you laughing! She's great with other animals and loves to play! She's great in the house and crate trained! She's utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

About Wags and Whiskers

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small foster based rescue group who pulls dogs and cats from local kill shelters along the gulf coast. Our goal is to rescue these unwanted precious souls, get them healthy and happy, and then place them in their perfect forever home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our dogs are in foster homes, but we are very easy and flexible to set an appointment up with to meet one of our animals. We also participate regularly at adoption events with other local rescues.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions are subject to adoption application and home visit/meet and greet with the potential adopters. The adoption fee is $150 for all animals which includes all age appropriate shots, wormer, heart worm test if of age, rabies if of age, spay/neuter, monthly preventatives while in our care, and any other medical attention that may be needed.
